Sensing Silent Interaction: BESTAR at CES Redefines the “Next Step” Through Touch

2026-01-15

Las Vegas, January 2026 — At Booth 4059 in the West Hall of CES 2026, BESTAR presents a technology showcase centered on “feeling.” At this year’s show, BESTAR joins forces with its German subsidiary GREWUS GmbH and its U.S. subsidiary BESTAR Technologies to demonstrate how haptic feedback technology is quietly reshaping the logic of human–machine interaction.

Consumer Electronics: Haptic Feedback Reshapes Everyday Interaction
At the BESTAR booth, many visitors are drawn to an eye-catching mouse. Its surface is smooth and seamless, with no visible physical buttons, yet when pressed, it delivers a clear and realistic clicking sensation to the fingertips. Behind this experience lies BESTAR’s expertise in piezoelectric haptic feedback technology.

The same haptic simulation can also be applied to laptop touchpads, where sliding and clicking motions are accompanied by delicate vibration feedback, blurring the boundary between virtual interfaces and physical buttons.
The principle behind this tactile sensation is based on the “direct piezoelectric effect” and the “inverse piezoelectric effect” of piezoelectric ceramic materials. When an external force is applied to the ceramic, it deforms, causing changes in its internal polarization state and generating an electrical charge that can be detected. Vibration feedback, on the other hand, belongs to the inverse piezoelectric effect: when a driving voltage is applied to the ceramic, it undergoes mechanical deformation, producing vibration.

Smart Cockpits: Seat Vibration Feedback Enhances Driving Safety
The smart cockpit demonstration area is another major highlight of BESTAR’s exhibition. The company’s self-developed seat vibration feedback technology offers a new approach to improving driving safety.
When the system detects a potential hazard, the seat delivers precise vibration alerts to the driver. Compared with traditional visual and auditory warnings, haptic feedback is more intuitive and less distracting, helping to shorten reaction times and enhance overall driving safety.

Gaming Interaction: Haptic Feedback Creates Immersive Experiences
A dedicated gaming experience zone has also been set up to showcase game controllers, seat cushions, and supporting haptic feedback systems co-developed with partners.
During gameplay, the real-time vibration signals transmitted through the gaming seat cushion significantly enhance control and realism, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in virtual adventures. For example, players can feel the recoil of firearms, the acceleration and impact of racing vehicles, the shockwaves of explosions, and even subtle differences when characters walk across various surface materials. This form of haptic feedback effectively complements visual and auditory cues, together creating a richer and more immersive interactive experience.

Haptic feedback technology is becoming increasingly important in the gaming sector. With the continued development of VR and AR gaming, precise vibration feedback has become essential, bringing refined and immersive tactile innovations to gaming experiences worldwide.
From consumer electronics to smart cockpits, from gaming entertainment to professional equipment, the haptic feedback and seat vibration technologies showcased by BESTAR at CES 2026 are quietly transforming the way we interact with technology.
The future of haptic technology may well lie in this kind of silent intuition—one that requires no verbal translation, yet speaks directly to human perception. In an age of information overload, such a quiet and direct interaction language is often more easily remembered by the body.
